Senior Project Manager
Automation & Manufacturing
Nottingham
£60k to £65k + Good benefits
Are you a Senior Project Manager with a real passion for solving engineering problems, and managing complex projects?
Do you carry solid engineering project knowledge, especially from within automation, robotics, and manufacturing environments?
Are you hands on and able to work with diverse project teams?
Are you based within a reasonable commute of Nottingham and carry a full UK driving licence?
If you're all of the above, then I'd like to tell you about a Senior Project Manager role that I'm recruiting for.
The Company
- One of the major players in the automation and manufacturing processes industry.
- Impressive growth over the last 7 years, and still growing.
- Known and respected for providing manufacturing answers via automation, robotics, and unique solutions.
- Working across logistics, manufacturing, materials handling and sorting, within food, product manufacturing, parcels and FMCG, they offer a full turnkey solution to some of the best-known companies.
Due to significant growth and an order-book stretching off into the future, they now are looking to boost their project team with an experienced Senior Project Manager.
The Person
I addition to having the knowledge, experience, and passion for managing projects within automation, you'll need to be:
- An experienced Project Manager from a relevant industry background.
- Confident in handling project deliverables, in terms of cost, timings, milestones and control.
- Detail driven and able to maintain accurate plans and recorded data
- Able to demonstrate experience of projects that use cutting-edge automation techniques.
- A great communicator, both verbal and via the written word. This is across your peers, customer contacts, the project and design teams, as well as a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid in your IT abilities and able to record and disseminate information in a clear and unambiguous manner.
- Passionate about your projects and willing to go the extra yards to get things done.
This is only a thumbnail sketch of what is a technical and involving role, so I'll be in touch with those that most suit the needs of the position as a whole and take things from there.
The Rewards
In order to attract the right talent, they are offering an excellent base salary and benefits package based on experience. This will be discussed on a candidate-by-candidate basis.
Unfortunately, this role would not suit a recent graduate or those without significant real-world experience in a similar role. We are also NOT considering those that would have an excessive commute or would need to relocate - NO EXEPTIONS.
