The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire and develop an environment of successful delivery and continuous improvement within product teams. Additionally, you will take responsibility for the delivery management of high-risk, complex or demanding products.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach delivery managers in applying Agile methodologies
- Facilitate cross-functional team sessions for effective planning and delivery
- Manage high-risk projects and ensure clear communication internally and externally
- Plan and allocate resources for digital product delivery
- Collaborate with product managers on product strategies
- Build an inclusive and skilled team, actively participating in the Agile community
- Advocate for Agile methodologies and take ownership of risk management
- Contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture
- Control costs within the budget and ensure compliance with policies
- Undertake any other work as reasonably required, following company policies and principles
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as Senior Project Manager with demonstrable experience of end to end project delivery
- Experience leading/mentoring a team of Project / Delivery Managers
- In-depth understanding of agile models of working
- Proficiency in working with Objectives and Key Results
- Extensive experience working on diverse products with varying complexities
- Track record of handling products with high technical complexity or intricate stakeholder engagement
- Application of concepts and techniques from various agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Successful collaboration across multiple product teams
- Hands-on experience in managing products involving external agencies
Package Details:
- Up to £69K basic salary
- (Hybrid, 2 days in London/City)
- 15% pension contribution
