Position Overview:
As a Network Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of an organization's computer networks. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure to ensure seamless communication and connectivity. Key Responsibilities:
Network Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and manage the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and other network systems.
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the network infrastructure.
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of network engineers and technicians.
Provide guidance, support, and training to team members.

Network Security:
Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the organization's network from cyber threats and unauthorized access.

Vendor Management:
Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with network hardware and software vendors.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service.
Troubleshooting and Technical Support:
Oversee the resolution of network-related issues and provide technical support to end-users.
Develop and implement troubleshooting procedures to minimize downtime.
Capacity Planning:
Monitor network usage and performance to identify areas for improvement or expansion.
Conduct capacity planning to ensure that the network infrastructure can meet current and future demands.
Collaboration with Other IT Teams:
Work closely with other IT teams, such as systems administrators and cybersecurity professionals, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of IT initiatives.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.
Keep network diagrams and inventory up-to-date.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure that the network infrastructure complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) is a plus.
Proven experience in network management and leadership roles.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software.
In-depth knowledge of network security principles and practices.
