Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Construction Contracts Manager to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in managing construction projects and contractual agreements while prioritizing the health, safety, and wellbeing of all involved parties. Working closely with our exceptional team, you will have the opportunity to deliver outstanding service and contribute to the successful completion of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Negotiate and draft contracts for construction projects, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies while prioritizing health, safety, and wellbeing considerations.
- Assess project contracts for potential risks and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and optimize terms and conditions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, engineering, and operations teams, to facilitate effective project management and contract administration processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and issues, fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance and compliance throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any deviations or concerns in a timely manner.
- Implement and refine project management and contract administration systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- Proven experience in brickworks and contract administration, demonstrating a track record of delivering successful projects and prioritizing health, safety, and wellbeing considerations.
- In-depth knowledge of construction project management principles, contract law, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Black CSCS Managers Card.
- Proven experience in contract management and brickworks.
- Full UK Driver’s License required.
