Our client is looking for a Senior Client-side Design & ConstructionProject Manager on a Contract basis. Central London-based, initial 12 month Fixed-Term Employment.
Key skills & Experience we are looking for:
- UK & International project delivery experience
- 10+years Client-Side PM experience
- Experience on the Contractor side of construction projects
Skills & Experience:
- Able to produce comprehensive project programs, site meeting minutes, contractor's reports
- Contribute to stakeholder, programme and contracts meetings
- Collate, manage and sign off snagging works completed by project support teams
- Record variations & liaise with the QS team
- Responsible for site health and safety from pre-contract stage through to project completion
- Monitor all site health and safety procedures and compliance by all site personnel
- Manage client direct suppliers for projects
- Commercial awareness for on-site projects
- Liaise with supply chain team to ensure compliance and effective site set up
- Take a lead role in snagging and handover meetings where appropriate with the design team
- Deliver projects to agreed program of works
- Monitor program of works and identify shortfalls and solutions
- Excellent time keeping and ability to manage own workload and work to deadlines
- Passion for delivering a professional service and quality product to wide stakeholder groups
- Must have excellent IT skills - Microsoft skills including Excel, Outlook and Project are essential
Other:
- Professional qualification in project management desirable
- Experience of working in healthcare sector advantageous
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
