Join our dynamic team developing 3D Biomedical Imaging in the form of mobile flat-panel X-ray systems. This is a disruptive technology that could increase availability and diagnosis for patients around the world. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to play a key role in the research and development / manufacturing of our medical imaging technology. As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure the successful translation of our cutting-edge technologies into commercial products.
We are looking for a results-oriented Project Manager with experience in managing projects within a highly regulated technical engineering sector such as medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or similar.
Senior Project Manager – Biomedical Imaging
Location: Kidlington (3-4 days a week on-site in)

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing multiple projects ensuring they are delivered on-time and on-budget.
- Lead cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Electronics, Semiconductor, etc) to translate long-term project plans into realistic and achievable delivery plans, ensuring timely product launches and market readiness.
- Manage competing priorities in alignment with business objectives, effectively allocating resources, and guiding teams toward successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and promoting a culture of innovation within the organization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, adhering to regulatory standards such as ISO13485, and implement rigorous verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost.
- Implement project governance processes company-wide, ensuring adherence to best practices and maximizing productivity.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster constructive internal and external relationships, promote collaboration, and influence horizontally within the organization.
- Exceptional project management capability, demonstrating discipline and accountability while inspiring the same in others.
- Comfortable in both waterfall and agile environments, with the ability to implement the appropriate methodology for each project's unique requirements.
- Detail-focused and analytical, rapidly assimilating technical and scientific knowledge to make informed decisions and drive project success.
Experience:
- 5 years+ experience as a Project Manager in R&D/Production within a technical/science engineering company.
- Proven success in scoping work, making design decisions, and completing tasks within budget and on time.
- Experience in managing projects involving new product development with a high science content, preferably within a regulated industry.
