Senior Project Manager

Position Overview: As a Senior Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring that all housing projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will manage multiple projects from inception to completion, working closely with stakeholders to achieve project objectives and exceed client expectations. This is a strategic role that requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience in project management within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of housing projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Serve as the main liaison between the client and the project team, managing expectations and ensuring effective communication.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates and reports to clients and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
• Manage and coordinate the efforts of contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Conduct regular site visits to oversee project activities and address any issues promptly.
• Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes to overcome project challenges.
• Lead and mentor junior Project Managers and other team members.

Requirements:

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on residential housing projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., CIOB, APM) is highly desirable.
• Valid CSCS card and relevant certifications.
• Willingness to travel within the North West region as required.
