Main Duties:
As a Senior Property Accountant, your main duties include:
- Managing a self-reliant team of four
- Working closely with Property Accountants with guidance on leases.
- Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations for rent, including assessing ageing analysis, addressing any discrepancies, and investigating areas requiring further examination
- Record property costs and oversee controls and processes
- Review our property cash flow every week
- Work closely with the Financial Reporting Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist in reconciling client statements
- Ensure all landlord/managing agent and franchisor commitments are calculated and verified in accordance with the terms of the agreement.
- Coordinate with the legal team on property contracts.
- Attend client meetings
- Support audits
Location / Office / Culture
The role is flexible with 3 days in the welcoming office space, and the rest at home
