This role provides a great opportunity for a candidate to work closely alongside the Head of Property, and to gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a thriving business.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of properties, taking a proactive & strategic approach in the day-to-day management of the portfolio
- Work closely with the wider maintenance, facilities & administration teams
- Carry out regular property inspections
- Build key strategic relationships with tenants & agencies
- Reading and summarising of leases
- Ensuring lease data is regularly updated and maintained on the Property Management database
- Manage & facilitate building works & external contractors
- Deal with service charges, rental agreements & payments
- Hold weekly team meetings & provide instruction to team members
- Budgeting & costing new projects
Role Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 3 year’s previous commercial Property Management experience together with landlord and tenant knowledge.
- High attention to detail and an organised and methodical approach to processing.
- Previous experience of setting service charge budgets is essential alongside creative Property Management initiatives.
- Strong IT and software skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to work effectively both in a team environment and own initiative in a pressured environment, sticking to strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- A full, clean UK driving licence
