This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at a crucial political juncture. As Campaigns and Public Affairs Officer, you’ll support the RCGP’s influencing work in the run up to the general election and beyond, helping to build key relationships with Parliamentarians to secure positive change for general practice.
General practice is the cornerstone of the NHS, but GPs are feeling the pressure like never before. As the professional membership body for family doctors, we represent GPs on the issues that matter most to them - and their patients.
Are you passionate about ensuring that all patients can access a GP when they need one? Interested in using your campaigning skills to protect the NHS for future generations? Want to join a successful team that is truly shaping the future of healthcare across the UK?
We are looking for someone with experience of influencing political decisions, a good understanding of the parliamentary process and political environment and experience of mobilising others to join a campaign.
You will work at every level to help improve patient care from working with UK Parliament to giving GPs the tools to influence policy makers. You’ll be joining the Policy, Research and Campaigns team, a fast paced and collaborative work environment.
The successful candidate will share our corporate values. In return, the College offers excellent terms and conditions.
To apply, please apply directly on the RCGP Vacancies page, providing both your CV and a covering letter/statement.
The Royal College of General Practitioners is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
