You will apply your experience of performing complex and accurate analysis for research and evaluation programs using a range of statistical analysis tools. This includes using SQL or other query languages and record linkage techniques, as well as robust statistical and analytical techniques towards data manipulation and analyses using large datasets and routine data. You will develop & propose research and evaluation programs with support from within the Research and Evaluation Division, and working with internal and external partners as needed towards policy making. Working closely with National Centre for Population Health & Wellbeing Research in Swansea University, you will explore research and evaluation opportunities with external partners and seek external funding to further realise the value of linked data in Wales. You will contribute to the production of a range of published outputs that will be accessible to policy-makers and practitioners, often to tight timelines. You will present complex information verbally and in writing to ensure messages are conveyed accurately to multi-disciplinary audiences, including writing academic publications. This will include using a variety of presentation methods that are appropriate to the audiences collective confidence and understanding of analytical techniques. You will be self-sufficient and capable of organising your own workload to deliver the required output to sometimes tight timelines. As part of a team, you will adapt to changing priorities and focus on new priority areas.
