As a Senior Public / Sexual Health Nurse, you will lead on promotion, assessment, and co-ordinating treatment for patients in all aspects of Sexual Health and public health. Leading on preventative health, your key role will be ensuring effective and consistent recognition of STI’s, symptomatic and asymptomatic screening, taking samples and managing laboratory pathways, Point of care testing, treating infections via PGD’s. You’ll co-ordinate all clinical activity in relation to Sexual Health and where applicable contraception, conduct STI screening and advising patients of results and conduct clinical examination and care planning for patients who require treatment.
What you'll be doing
As a NMC registered Public / Sexual Health Nurse with Practice Plus Group you will contribute to our healthcare strategy and will have a real passion for developing your clinical skills in an environment that is ever-changing. You will be trained in performing phlebotomy and have a passion for working in Sexual Health services.

You’ll receive an annual salary up to £46200 per annum - depending on experience.

What we’ll look for in you
HMP Full Sutton is a Category A and B men’s prison in the village of Full Sutton in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is a half an hour drive from York city centre. The prison is purpose built and has capacity to hold 560 men in conditions of high security.
