Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk

Your new company
You will be working with a valued and integral organisation in the Worcester area for a supporting role in their Finance team. This is a temporary role that may have the opportunity to go permanent.
Your new role
This role is working in the Purchase Ledger team, reporting to the Purchase Ledger manager with the below duties alongside supervision of a small team and management cover where required.
Key duties include:
Deadline management for direct debits and credit card payments
Investigation into complex queries with timely resolution
Plan, implement and monitor the day-to-day activities involved with the requisition and purchase of goods and services
Liaise with the procurement and other departments to eliminate and improve the P2P process
Process improvement and best practise
Act as a technical leader in meetings
Take responsibility for supplier statements.
This role offers hybrid working once training is complete and is a full-time working week from Monday to Friday.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will need to have strong experience in Purchase Ledger and have a demonstrated history of working with complex queries and working with multiple teams in a large organisation. Ideally, you will have leadership/management experience or want to learn this.
