The role
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Leading and providing functional advice and support to the business on all matters related to the effective delivery of the Quality Assurance Programme, ensuring outputs meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Day to day, you'll ensure Business Management System compliance with ISO 9001, customer, and regulatory requirements, as well as:
Support functions in maintenance and development of processes and procedures.
Develop and maintain the project audit schedule.
Carry out internal and external audits in accordance with the audit schedule.
Own and deliver the non-conformance reporting process and corrective actions process.
Investigate customer quality concerns and Corrective Action Requests.
This role is a hybrid role with 4 days per week onsite at Rosyth.
Essential experience of the Senior Quality Engineer:
Experience in Quality Assurance in a heavy fabrication or machining environment.
Qualifications for the Senior Quality Engineer:
As a minimum, have an HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject.
Recognised Lead Auditor qualification.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
