More than anything we are looking for an passionate, autonomous self-starter who is keen to have a broad strategic impact and drive their personal approach to quality into an organisation of around 100+ quality practitioners.

What you’ll do

  • Reporting into the Director of Engineering responsible for Quality practice, you’ll shape the strategy and direction for quality in the UK landscape.
  • You’ll work closely with the Senior Quality Engineering Manager for Enterprise Tooling who is responsible for implementing the Enterprise roadmap for quality in the UK

  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing by acting as a thought catalyst by keeping the Quality Engineering community up to date on industry, enterprise and business trends. Inject this context into technology decisions
  • Coach and mentor a new breed of Senior Quality engineers, acting as a beacon for the wider function.

What we’re looking for:

  • You are skilled and knowledgeable across Quality Engineering practises, governance and technologies
  • You are comfortable in reaching technical trade-offs between short-term team and long-term business needs.
  • You are willing and excited to get into the guts of a completely data-driven, highly regulated industry with a lot of existing complexity.
  • You work well with diverse teams, partnering across the organisation to navigate an ambiguous and quickly changing environment.
  • You'll demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and work together across engineering to maximise inner-sourcing opportunities and reduce waste

What’s in it for you

  • Bring us all this - and you’ll be handsomely rewarded with a role contributing to the product roadmap for an organisation committed to transformation
  • We’re continuing our journey into the public cloud and have problems of scale, security, availability and performance for you to help solve
