Senior Quality Manager

Salary – Starting from £55,440 - depending on skills and experience.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the planning and delivery of scheduled quality workload, through pro-active engagement within the Tech Centre in which they are embedded.
  • Preparation and review of technical, commercial or scientific deliverables, internal and external, in relevant areas of Quality.
  • Experience of New Product Introduction (NPI) and the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP ) would be advantageous.
  • Provide strategic leadership to enhance quality skills, knowledge, and capabilities necessary to support both current and future work of the Tech Centre.
  • Act as the Quality SME for cross functional team activities within their relevant Tech Centre.
  • Provision of technical review and guidance to support customers, stakeholders and the company, internally and externally.
  • All - maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
  • Additional accountabilities for this job profile may be defined and appointed through the Chief Engineer Management Arrangements, with appointees listed within the Company Design Authorities and Technical Authorities, as held in the company management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate extensive subject matter expertise in the fields pertinent to their role within the Quality sub-function.
  • Provide leadership on the delivery of technical assessments, through the development of assessment methodologies and enhancing capability development.
  • Identify gaps using analysis tools, and construct process improvement, and programme recovery plans.
  • Develop and deploy Quality metrics to measure, develop and enhance Quality performance. Support the continuous development of their staff and themselves.
  • Engagement with relevant stakeholders across AWE, UK industry and develop strong working relationships in support of current and future Quality requirements.
  • The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.

About Us
