This client are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in order to assist with a strong order book and companies expansion and growth plans for the next 5 years. Your role will involve working on a wide range of projects across the UK.

The company is long established and enjoys an enviable reputation based upon enhancing some of the UK's most well-known built assets on some extremely prestigious projects.
Description
You will be responsible for the day to day commercial activities across a diverse range of projects, maximising value, margin and market share and working with Directors and Quantity Surveyors on contractual matters:
- Preparing, submitting and agreeing interim valuations/applications in accordance with contractual dates.
- Costing and agreeing variations and robust follow up to ensure payment.
- Keeping adequate records for the valuing variations and ascertaining loss and/or expense.
- Reviewing subcontract correspondence for delay and loss and/or expense claims
- Advising Site Managers and Directors on delays, extensions of time and loss and/or expense and ensuring relevant notices are issued.
- Reporting on the overall financial position of contracts.
- Assisting with tendering for projects
Profile
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A strong background in Quantity Surveying and ideally hold a relevant construction related (ideally Quantity Surveying) qualification (HNC, HND or Degree level).
- Experience working in a fully qualified QS role and experience running projects independently.
- It is important that you have contractual awareness and ideally in the JCT suite.
