- Lead and guide the commercial/ project team, providing expert insights for all project-related commercial actions and tasks.
- Cultivate effective communication across the commercial team to ensure seamless project operations.
- Oversee and manage subcontract complexities for the projects, leveraging your extensive experience.
- Execute daily commercial administration and associated duties with precision and expertise.
- Ensure meticulous management of project commercial documentation to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication and reporting of critical data to all stakeholders.
- Proactively identify, address, and provide strategic solutions for existing or potential issues, collaborating closely with the Quantity Surveyors/Senior Quantity Surveyors.
- Uphold strict compliance with approved processes, procedures, and project executive plans.
- Spearhead the enhancement of the functional quality and performance of Quantity Surveying through strategic and innovative contributions.
What you will need:
- Extensive and proven experience within a project commercial team, showcasing a consistently high level of expertise.
- Excellent proficiency in managing complex subcontracts and commercial intricacies.
- Confidence in the intricate commercial aspects related to civil and infrastructure projects, underpinned by extensive experience.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in a related subject or equivalent experience desirable.
- Chartered status within a recognised organization (RICS or CIOB) would be highly advantageous.
- Adept at working with Contract Management Systems (CEMAR or similar).
- Possession of ,or eligibility for, UK Nuclear industry clearance is required.
