A rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor where you will hold an integral within a growing principal contractor working on technically interesting projects with a clear line of progression to Commercial Manager within the next two years.

This reputable design and build refurbishment Contractor specialise the refurbishment of prominently student accommodation projects across the UK working on projects up to 15M . Having thrived since being established this company have a clear 5 year growth plan increase turnover to 100M, in order to achieve this they have also started working on more diverse and technically challenging projects. To facilitate their growth they're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the business and progress through the ranks.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work within a growing company, where you will have a clear line of progression within a company who plans to double turnover and become a tier one contractor.
You will be the lead cost control of high value refurbishment projects. Liaising with Estimators you will produce a bill of quantities for projects, oversee sub-contractor packages whilst managing cashflow ensuring payments have been submitted on time. Conduct monthly and quarterly valuations. You will have communication with site teams ensuring projects are being delivered on budget. You will also hold mentoring responsibilities acting as an expert to junior staff
It is imperative that you have a strong Quantity Surveying background within a main contractor, ideally working on refurbishment projects construction industry. You will need to have strong contractual knowledge and ideally experience working on high value projects.
