SalaryOur client is a leading construction consultancy who specialise within the infrastructure sector. With a track record of repeat business and a meticulous approach to project selection, they offer exceptional commercial and project services to clients across the industry and due to continued success they are now looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to add to their team.
The Role:
This position offers the chance to be part of a large infrastructure project, specifically a nuclear plant, with on-site presence required two days a week. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Senior Quantity surveying roles, specifically within the infrastructure industry on large scale projects. Candidates must possess strong contract administration skills, particularly with NEC3/4 contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert quantity surveying support throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure objectives are met
- Conduct 2 site visits a week and inspections
- Assist in subcontractor selection and management
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements for the role:
- Extensive Experience in contract administration, specifically NEC3/4 contracts
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large infrastructure projects
- Experience working on high value projects (£50m +)
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
