Senior Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities:
- Support operational teams in daily commercial and contractual matters.
- Ensure proper contractual administration of assigned contracts/projects, including value and cost control, and maintenance of contemporaneous records.
- Accurately assess works undertaken and provide necessary records to substantiate costs for prompt issuance of applications for payment/invoices.
- Effectively manage the change control process, including the production of Early Warnings/Variations to maximise entitlement.
- Prepare financial statements for assigned projects/contracts, fostering commercial awareness across the business.
- Mentor and support the development of individuals within the commercial team.
- Undertake additional duties as required.
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Construction, Civils, or Infrastructure.
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a senior QS role.
- Experience managing a team of QSs and AQSs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- HNC Level qualification preferred.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Thorough understanding of contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management and prioritisation abilities.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and forward-thinking.
