Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Powys Teaching Health Board for an experienced person with excellent verbal and written communication skills to work in the Information Governance Team as a Senior Records Officer.
The post holder will work with the Document & Records Manager and Information Governance Team to help implement and monitor the Health Board’s Records Management work programme. The post holder will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s obligation to respond to a variety of access to information requests made under the Freedom of Information Act and data protection legislation. They will also support the ongoing development and implementation of the Health Board’s information governance framework, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
The successful candidate will need to possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be able to work to strict deadlines. They should be experienced in producing and distributing a variety of documents including; minutes, agendas, letters, policies, procedures and spreadsheets and be able to analyse and interpret information.
