Job Title: Caretaker/ Cleaning Supervisor
Location: St James School, Greenacre Street, Clitheroe BB7 1ED
Hours: 30 per week .Mon-Fri, 6 hours daily across 07.00-18.00, flexible
Rate of Pay: £11.32 per hour
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
As a Caretaker/Cleaning Supervisor in Clitheroe, you’ll be quality-focused and be able to work on your own initiative to clean and provide upkeep for spaces and buildings. You will perform basic repairs, maintain cleaning supplies, operate cleaning equipment; be a key point of contact for the customer and ensure the long term relationships are strengthened.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Cleaning and Standards
· Complete and maintain relevant records (e.g. Quality Assurance documentation; Health & Safety records; training logs; timesheets etc.) accurately and on time
· Monitor and advise on stock usage, ordering stock as and when required
· Use cleaning machinery including floor buffers and carpet cleaners
· Effective use of cleaning equipment and chemicals considering COSHH regulations
· Monitor standards of performance and quality of cleaning across the site
· To undertake cleaning duties as required
Managing/Leading and Customer Service
· Build great relationships with your team/colleagues and your customers
· Supervise the site, ensuring work is completed to an agreed schedule and to required standards
· Work with the account management team to attend client site inspections and audits as required
· Be the point of contact for the customers with any issues or queries, resolving where appropriate
· Have a clear understanding of customer service guidelines/principles
Health, Safety and Environment
· Act responsibly in relation to all matters which may affect the Health and Safety of yourselves and others whilst on Company premises and to adhere to safety regulations at all times
· Observe all safety procedures and instructions and assist in maintaining a safe workplace and reporting any accidents, hazards, near misses, damages or defects to tools and equipment to the appropriate person
· Wear appropriate protective equipment (PPE) and use any safety devices provided by the company at the relevant times

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential: Previous supervisory experience
Cleaning Industry experience
Desirable: Valid full driving licence
