The Role:
As a Senior Registered Nurse specializing in Pre-Assessment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our pre-operative assessment service. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, coordinating patient care plans, and providing support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the pre-assessment process.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients, addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital protocols.
Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
Significant experience working in pre-assessment or a similar clinical setting.
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
