Job Purpose: The Senior Strategic Relationship Account Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering and managing key relationships within the West Midlands region, focusing on companies of strategic importance. Reporting directly to the Head of SRM, this role involves engaging with C-Suite level executives across both public and private sectors, contributing to the delivery of the Top500 programme. The incumbent will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the region's economic growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a professional and knowledgeable point of contact for stakeholders, providing insights into services and offerings.
- Build and nurture relationships at the executive level within targeted companies, leveraging expertise in key regional sectors.
- Collaborate with public sector stakeholders to support managed accounts and facilitate strategic partnerships.
- Develop and execute intelligence-led account management plans, ensuring timely resolution of client inquiries and concerns.
- Utilise CRM systems effectively to evaluate and track client interactions, sharing insights with relevant teams.
- Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to strategic account management.
- Engage with industry associations and trade bodies to stay abreast of sector-specific developments.
- Represent the organisation at events, promoting the benefits of the SRM offering and raising the profile of the West Midlands region.
- Work closely with senior leaders to optimise SRM operations for large accounts.
- Provide leadership and management support within the SRM team as required.
