Job description

Salary on appointment will be £36,333 per annum, with an annual increment up to £43,155 per annum.  An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Associate join the School of Biological Sciences to conduct studies on placental epigenetic variability in response to maternal nutrient availability.   As a Senior Research Associate you will contribute to the research programme, analyse and interpret data, write up results and present information on research progress and outcomes. You will have a PhD in a relevant area and research experience in bioinformatics including the analysis of NGS data.  You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, computational, IT and data analysis skills and general knowledge of molecular genetics, epigenetics and expression analyses. This full-time post is available from 1 April 2024 on a Fixed term basis for 18 months.
