Solihull Children's Services have an exciting new opportunity for a team of enthusiastic and passionate Senior Residential Care Practitioners to join us as we launch three small (3 bed) children’s residential homes, the first of which is due to open in Spring 2024.

Whether you are already working as a Senior Care Practitioner, or you are an experienced Care Practitioner looking to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.

We will provide a comprehensive induction and training in the run up to the opening of these homes, and where the desired, the opportunity to undertake a funded Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare, to enable you to join us in our commitment to deliver the highest quality Children’s Home for our children and Young People.

In this highly rewarding role, you will relish the opportunity to lead a team of Residential Care Practitioners, to make a life-changing difference to children, Young People and their families within Solihull. By providing them with a safe, stable, supportive and stimulating environment, you will help to create a strong foundation for a brighter future.

With guidance and support from our Registered Managers, as well as managing daily routines, you will also lead and inspire your team of Care Practitioners to act as role models to our children and Young People. You will assist our Care Practitioners to address challenges, build the children’s resilience and go above and beyond to play a vital part in each child’s journey to adulthood.

About You
