Responsibilities:
As an essential part of the veterinary team, your duties will include:
  • Assisting veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and medical procedures.
  • Monitoring and caring for small animal patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
  • Conducting health checks and maintaining detailed medical records.
  • Offering compassionate support to pet owners, addressing their concerns, and providing post-operative care advice.
  • Assisting with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and sample collection.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols and keeping the clinic clean and organized.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, applicants should have the following qualifications:
  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification with active RCVS registration.
  • Previous experience in a small animal clinic or similar setting.
  • Proficiency in nursing skills, including catheter placement, bandaging, and administering medications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with pet owners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
