Senior Sales Manager

Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Global manufacturer of Metal Processing equipment to recruit a Senior Sales Manager to lead a team of Sales Managers that operate globally.
This is a key role within the business and requires a strong sales leader that can support the existing team and help shape the Global sales strategy.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieves the business objectives
- Working with the sales team, estimate sales volume and gross profits for current and new products
- Monitor competitors’ products, including relevant sales and provide marketing data
- Develop and maintain an operating budget for the sales division to achieve business objectives
- Deliver order intake in line with quarterly budgets.
- Use current and if required develop a set of KPI’s to measure sales team performance in relation to the above highlighting key improvement opportunities, actioning accordingly.
- Report on Sales performance Monthly, Quarterly, and annually.
- Develop business cases for new products and work with the business on introduction plans up to the manufacturing stage.
Skills & Experience:
- Full Global International travel up to 50%, or as the business needs dictates, pending at time travel guidelines
- Technically astute and experience of Heavy Industrial Engineered Manufacturing products
- Strong experience of managing a sales team with a good mix of capital equipment and consumable sales
- Experience of growing sales by way of developing the team, increasing current product revenue and introduction of new products to the portfolio
- Excellent understanding of Sales tools to measure, drive and manage performance
- Good working knowledge of mechanisms, gearing, basic hydraulics, electrical hardware & software packages, and platforms - Desirable
- Ability to create an environment that brings the team together and deliver as a unit
