VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major client with the Recruitment of a Customer Services Manager to join their growing and dynamic team based in Fermanagh.

Salary - £45,000 + Fantastic Benefits Package + Career Progression Opportunities.

4 Day working week - Hours - 07:00-17:15 - Mon-Thu

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the customer service and despatch team.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by achieving key performance metrics.
  • Ensure efficient and effective customer communication on delivery status, issues, and recovery plans.
  • Support the delivery of operational as well as strategic projects to ensure that all customers receive the best end-to-end experience whilst delivering a commercial outcome.
  • Visit customer sites on a periodic basis to support identification and delivery of customer-centric initiatives aimed at improving customer experience metrics.
  • Foster positive working relationships with operations to achieve customer service targets.
  • Align order book management in the ERP system to promised delivery dates.
  • Address and resolve issues impacting customer services.
  • Ensure availability of customer-supplied stock for operational needs.
  • Recover value of excess, obsolete, or slow-moving stock from all customers.
  • Supervise and ensure the transportation needs are complete – for example, custom requirements and Advance Shipping Notices.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience of leading/managing a customer service function.
  • Proven ability to deliver a customer service strategy demonstrating improvements in customer metrics.
  • Fosters excellent customer relationships
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and basic business acumen.
  • Great organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise to ensure relevant targets are met.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness and ability to build strong relationships with internal team members through regular updates and discussions on order and delivery statuses.
  • Detail-oriented with a drive to meet ambitious goals.
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems effectively.
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills with experience of ERP systems including forecasting, invoicing, and MS Office.
