The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Simulator Flight Instructor - Global Flight Training Standardization to join the team in the London Crawley campus.
This position is in support of instructor standardization across our campuses, as well as supporting a growing global statement of work in support of external customer CBTA instructor training. The selected candidate will need to have strong communication skills, written, verbal and listening. This role will require the ability to travel domestically and/or internationally on short notice for up to 29 days at a time to support program objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
Acquire and maintain all Boeing instructor qualifications for at least one model
Ability for global travel to support customer instructor training up to 4 weeks at a time
Comfortable leading facilitation in a briefing, debriefing, and classroom setting
Represent the Boeing brand in the global aviation training industry
Mentor and coach other instructors through the qualification and training process
Provide input and feedback to drive change, working collaboratively with other internal stakeholders
Evaluate and assess trainee progress through the use of competencies and observable behaviors
Promote global instructor standardization, providing coordination at the Gatwick campus, working in partnership with other Boeing global campuses to implement standardization best practices
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Required Qualifications:
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or EASA Air Transport Pilot Rating or NAA, Military Equivalent
Previous Simulator Flight Instructor experience on at least one Boeing model in an airline or training center
Occasionally willing to work variable hours
Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally on short notice up to 50% of the time
Must have a minimum Bachelor Degree in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
1000 hours of Pilot in Command
Experience or willingness to embrace Competency-Based Training & Assessment (CBTA) courseware delivery, to include student and instructor assessment of competencies
Technically savvy with an iPad, courseware media, and use of a classroom; ensuring training environment is properly prepared in advance; experience with MS Office
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
