Senior Site Engineer - South Birmingham (Rail Project)

Barker Ross is recruiting for a Site/Senior Engineers and/or a dedicated Temporary Works Coordinator positions come available.

They possess a proven experience and have delivered successful projects in a wide range of industries, including commercial, industrial, education, rail infrastructure and depots, airports, waste and energy.

About the project
Design and build three railway stations on the Camp Hill line in South Birmingham

The role:
* Good surveying and setting out background and experience - Use of robotic total stations, levelling equipment, etc.
* Good understanding and experience of managing the quality assurance process - Producing ITPs, work inspection sheets, relevant evidence etc.
* Ability to use AutoCAD/Civils 3D software
* Lives within the Birmingham or surrounding area/rate includes for accommodation and travel
* PTS ideally but can be sorted if not
* SSTS/SMSTS would be beneficial
* Temporary Works Coordinator experience would be beneficial but not essential
* Able to work well as part of a team/lead a team if Senior Engineer
* Network Rail experience would be beneficial including an understanding of design/engineering assurance processes
* Civils background and experience - Ground works, structures, station construction if possible
* Highways works (S278) and/or hard landscaping experience would be beneficial as an extra
