Senior Site Manager - 20 Weeks

Our client is a well-established Refurbishment and Construction company who typically look after projects up to the value of £10million

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Site Manager/ Project Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a distribution centre in Jarrow, South Tyneside.

This role is to start ASAP and is expected to last for 20 weeks!

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all activities related to the refurbishment project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
• Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety and accountability among the project team.
• Collaborate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets specifications and quality standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

Requirements:

• SMSTS
• 3-day 1st Aid
• CSCS card
• Extension and refurbishment experience
• Good technical knowledge
• Strong background in health and safety management, with a thorough understanding of relevant regulations and best practices
• Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve project goals
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
