Job Title: Senior Site Manager
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + Car allowance + Pension + Health care + Holiday
Our client, a leading main contractor on the South Coast, is looking to strengthen their management team due to securing several new projects around Bournemouth.
This contractor is looking to recruit a Senior Site Manager to either lead projects up to £5 million or work as part of a team on projects over £10 million. The urgent requirement would be on the project listed below & you would be working alongside the project manager.
Project:
- £15 Million commercial scheme
- Packages: Dry lining, joinery, flooring, M&E (internally biased for this scheme)
- Duration: 15 months
- Location: Bournemouth
This client is looking for an interview in June to start July.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
- Manage project budgets and finances, including tracking expenses and forecasting costs.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, contracts, and change orders.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities
