Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Rates Team, you will work on the "Fusion" platform in our Global Broking Division. Fusion is a low latency, enterprise level, event driven platform, hosted on AWS, written primarily in C# (back-end) and React (front-end). The role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager.

Role Responsibilities

• Build and optimize services to maximise maintainability, stability, performance and scalability.
• Be a team-player, collaborate with team members and stakeholders to solve complex problems.
• Be a leader, share your experience and expertise to influence the wider engineering team.

Experience / Competences
Essential

• Senior-level experience with .NET Core (C#)
• Experience with distributed, event-driven architectures or cloud-native systems.
• Familiar with architectural patterns such as Microservices, Pub/Sub, CQRS, BFF, DI/IOC
• Practical use of engineering principles like SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, KISS
• Demonstratable experience writing testable, tested, production-ready code.
• Great communication skills, with the ability to tailor the conversation to suit the audience.
