Form of workA leading ultra high definition displays company is looking for an expert level C/C++ Developer to join them on a permanent basis to support development of their Software Stack.
The client are offering a competitive package of benefits, a salary of up to £80k with 50% home working and the other days required onsite near Reading.
The work is a combination of heavily OOD C++, any use of QT is particularly beneficial and for those that are able to work down to Linux Kernel level, the client can offer this to - the SW stack includes work right down to device drivers and microcontrollers (including yocto, u-boot etc). The strong C++ and QT is the priority but for those that are able an example task might be to add a network abstraction layer in for the product – that would involve some C++ work in our core apps (abstraction library + app integration), OS/Yocto-level work for actually configuring the networking (routing/firewall) and potentially driver-level work for supporting multicast/PTP/VLAN-tagging in the proprietary network drivers.
Experience writing OOD C++ (C++ Outside of a C compiler) is required as you will need the ability to integrate and test the code as part of the core product.
Interviews are a one stage TEAMS call process and can take place from the 15/01/24 for an asap start.
You may be required to attend the office near Reading and also complete development work remotely.
