Job Description
We are looking to hire a Senior Backend Software Engineer with Avaloq experience, to work on Banking implementation projects in the area of Wealth Management & CRM. This role will navigate between teams and will be accountable for code quality and coaching less experience colleagues, with the planned progression to a tech lead role in the plan for the future. .
You will be responsible for the implementation of the core technical components and solving technical challenges in the Wealth Management application. We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer with strong conceptual skills.
Your key tasks
- Develop features or feature extensions related to the Avaloq Wealth Management application in PL/SQL and/or Avaloq Script, parametrize functionalities in the Avaloq Banking System
- Support business analysts in writing requirements specification and propose solutions
- Define and document technical solution designs for new features or feature adaptions
- Provide effort estimations for design and implementation work
- Implementation of new and adapted features in the Avaloq Banking System, according to the Avaloq coding style
- Do feature testing and bug fixing
- Write documentation of new feature or adaption
Qualifications
- A strong evidencable track record of working in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with PL/SQL programming, Oracle, SQL
- Client-orientation and strong communication skills with a structured and autonomous approach to work
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
- Sense of ownership
- Avaloq certified professional
It would be a real bonus if you have:
- University degree in computer science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- Business banking experience
