And here's where you come in! We're in search of an experienced Senior Sound Designer to elevate our audio experience. As a Senior Sound Designer for 'Predecessor', you'll be collaborating with your team members, producers, designers, artists, and engineers, focusing on crafting captivating audio that truly resonates with our players.

In This Role You Will
  • Create outstanding sound designs that significantly enhance the player experience
  • Focus on improving and optimizing audio systems, tools, pipelines, and workflows
  • Collaborate closely with the lead to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tasks
  • Take on a mentorship role, sharing knowledge and expertise within the team to foster growth and skill development
What We're Looking For
  • A minimum 5 years in sound design, including 3+ years in game dev, is required. Experience in completing a full cycle of an AA+ title, especially in live games like MOBAs, FPS, or co-op, is preferred.
  • Proven ability in successful team collaboration within a group of at least three team members, with a strong understanding of team dynamics.
  • Expertise in creating abstract sound designs, cinematic sound effects, and character sounds that deeply immerse players.
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, specifically in audio systems, visual scripting, and mixing.
  • Excellent communication skills, crucial for successful collaboration in a remote work environment.
  • Strong proficiency in using Reaper for sound design.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in mentoring junior team members, enhancing their ability to deliver high-quality work efficiently
  • A good understanding of music theory, enhancing the depth and quality of sound design
  • Familiarity with Wwise, to further expand audio capabilities
  • Proficiency in using project management and version control tools like JIRA and P4V
