Senior / Sous Chef Required
For busy Hornchurch / Upminster Restaurants
An amazing and exciting opportunity has arisen, my client is looking for a Senior / Sous Chef for their busy family run business, serving traditional and modern food using the finest ingredients, customers return time after time. Serving freshly made food, and a warm, friendly service they create a great atmosphere where the focus is on giving our customers a dining experience to remember.
You will be required to:-
- Do direct food preparation and collaborate with the Head Chef.
- Help with the design of food and drink menu.
- Produce high quality plates, including both design and taste.
- Oversee and supervise kitchen staff in absence of Head Chef
- Assist with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.
- Ensure that food is top quality and that kitchen is in good condition.
- Keep stations clean and complies with food safety standards.
- Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen's performance.
- Prepares food properly.
- Schedules staff shifts.
- Trains new employees.
- Orders food supplies.
- Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment.

In return you will receive :-
A competitive salary GBP35-GBP45k DOE
Based on a 40-45hrs per week (with the main days being Thursday - Sunday)
They have a 2 bed flat above the restaurant that's available to rent
