The successful candidate will be responsible for our team of Stores Persons, ensuring that staff carry out general warehouse work to a high degree of accuracy, which will include serving our own trades staff, picking orders, putting away stock, location management, stock management, taking in deliveries from multiple different suppliers, checking off delivery, booking goods into stock & booking goods out of stock.
The post holder will be required to cover as required for Stores Person and place orders for stock and liaise with suppliers to ensure best service delivery.
Forklift training will be provided. Job role requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills, you will be heavily involved with serving customers from various trades so understanding customers' needs is paramount.
Leading the team in implementing and changing working practices to continually improve our support to other sections within building services.
Hours of work are 8am-4pm Mon- Thurs & 8am-3:30pm Fri.
