This is a great opportunity for experienced Support Workers in Leeds to join a well-established company. Working as part of an all-female team with this young lady in student accommodation and in the holidays at her home in Norfolk. Working to support the Clinical Team Leader and the existing team members we are looking for a Senior Support Worker who has spinal injury experience and the ability to manage Complex Care needs. It is vital that you are available to work both days and nights as required.
Responsibilities to include:
- Personal care
- Domestic duties around the home
- Support with social activities
- Medication Administration
- Tracheostomy Care
- Ventilation Care
- To support the day to day running of the team
- In an emergency stand in for other staff members, at short notice should it be required
The ideal candidate will have:
- A compassionate and caring nature, with the ability to build a good rapport
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Flexibility to provide cover when needed
- Previous experience in a Support Worker role is essential
- Experience in spinal injuries and Complex Care is preferred
- Full clean UK driving licence
