Senior Support Worker

They are looking for a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our dynamic team and help us achieve this mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team of Support Workers to deliver outstanding care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for residents and staff.
• Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social activities.
• Monitor and document residents' progress, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Conduct training and development sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a setting supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or would be desirable
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
