They are looking for a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our dynamic team and help us achieve this mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of Support Workers to deliver outstanding care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for residents and staff.
- Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social activities.
- Monitor and document residents' progress, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Conduct training and development sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a setting supporting adults with learning disabilities.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or would be desirable
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
