Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to students with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualised support plans in collaboration with educational staff.
- Mentor and support junior staff, ensuring high standards of care and professionalism.
- Promote a safe and nurturing environment, using therapeutic techniques.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
- Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders.
Skills/Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD) and best practices in supporting children with these needs.
- Excellent leadership and team support skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and external agencies.
- Level 5 qualification in Children and Young People is required.
Hours
- Full-time, 40 hours per week (flexible working arrangements can be agreed).
Package
- Competitive salary of £34,000 per annum.
- 20 days plus bank holidays.
