We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Support Worker to work under the Support Coordinator to help lead an established team of staff in Quorn, Leicestershire.
Our vibrant and friendly team in Leicestershire support up to 4 individuals with a range of support needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex needs. You would work alongside a Support Coordinator and a team of experienced Support Workers onsite. You will assist with the smooth running of the service and delivery of high quality outcome-focussed and person centred support to enable the service users to achieve greater independence.
Senior Support Worker Duties:
- You will be positive about supporting people with a range of needs ensuring that they are enabled to be at the center of all decisions made about their lives
- You will help the Support Coordinator to lead the team to enable the service users to have a high quality of life, and to be important and valued members of the local community
- You will be responsible for ensuring personal, practical, emotional and social support is delivered at all times
The ideal candidate must be an experienced learning disabilities Support Worker who is ready to work in a leadership role and ready to take the next step in to having some additional responsibilities. Additionally, the ability to drive is essential for this role.
