Are you a CCAB Qualified Accountant looking to use your finance and IT knowledge to help address the biggest health issue in the UK today?
We are looking for a Senior Systems Accountant to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract as we progress our finance transformation programme, including the implementation of a new ERP finance system, Unit 4 ERPx. This role will lead the System Administration workstream during the user acceptance testing and system deployment phases, working closely with all project workstreams to fully understand the delivered final product.
You will be the in-house Unit4 SUPER user and expert, responsible for resolving issues, delivering training and driving best practice. You will be joining a committed finance team with an ambitious transformation plan!
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensuring that the users of the finance system work with an optimised set of processes.
- Managing the post go live relationship with Unit 4 and escalating issues for resolution as required.
- The review design and compliance of system controls, access and workflows.
- Develop reporting to meet needs throughout the Finance team and across the wider business.
- Managing the data integrity of the system and ensuring its coding structure remains current, compliant with accounting standards and relevant to the evolving operations of the Society.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Must be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with significant system accounting experience within a large organisation, preferably from the commercial or not-for-profit sector
- Technically and analytically strong.
- Unit4 ERPx and FP&A solution experience.
- Finance process understanding and experience in large organisation.
- Excellent and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent IT skills and extensive experience/knowledge on using Microsoft packages.
- Work collaboratively and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail.
