Responsibilities:
- Lead key projects and daily activities within the Vulnerability & Patch Management Program, fostering strong collaboration with IT infrastructure teams and project stakeholders.
- Execute patches and configuration updates throughout the production lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with security standards.
- Serve as a vital resource for threat identification, vulnerability remediation, and compliance assurance, working closely with Information Security Risk Management and business units.
- Administer centralized patch and vulnerability management solutions, maintaining endpoint compliance with stringent security guidelines.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues to minimize disruptions to our mission-critical operations, while documenting technical designs and best practices for support teams.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in vulnerability and/or patch management, demonstrating a deep understanding of key concepts and methodologies.
- Proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools and protocols, including SCAP, CVE, CVSS, CPE, CCE, VPR, and OVAL.
- Strong grasp of risk management principles, coupled with a detailed understanding of operating systems and common applications.
- Experience with virtual server and cloud environments, along with a track record of managing remediation efforts across diverse infrastructures.
- Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISM are preferred, highlighting your commitment to excellence in cybersecurity practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail and professionalism.
- Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate solutions, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
