International Group in Swindon now seeks to appoint a Senior Technical Accountant to be the point person and subject matter expert for all things IFRS related for one of their major divisions. With incredible exposure across the UK&I business, you will be part of a division experiencing extreme rapid growth and gain exposure to a raft of new projects needing financial opinion.
Role
Taking ownership of technical accounting treatment memos and local policy papers at a local level, you will act as a business partner providing strategic, timely and accurate advice to management and internal stakeholders on all aspects of technical accounting and structuring for large-scale projects, operational initiatives, restructurings, acquisitions and divestments.
You will also lead and coordinate the complete end-to-end group reporting process for the local sub division and ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data reported to senior stakeholders across the Group.
About You
Likely to have started your career working for a professional international accounting and audit firm, you will be an exceptionally strong ACA Technical Accountant. With 2-5years PQE, you may be seeking your first move into industry or already made the move and looking to increase the breadth of your activities. We'll also expect this role to build a strong network and relationships within the business, so strong communication and influencing skills are a must.
