A leading, listed insurance firm are looking to strengthen their Internal Audit function with a particular focus on IT specific Audits. This is a Senior position holding great responsibility as both a team leader for more junior IT Auditors and as subject matter expert concerning Tech audits across the business.
Candidates of interest will have extensive, demonstrable leadership experience within IT Audit. This must be gained from a Financial Services background with preference for candidates specifically working within the Insurance sector.
This role will also provide exposure across all areas of the business. You will therefore be the most senior IT Audit expert in the business whilst also strengthening the overall Audit function through more generalist engagements.
This is a highly visible role across the group and provides an excellent opportunity to establish yourself as a reputable IT Audit leader for a top player within the Listed Insurance space.
Requirements:
- Professional IT Audit qualification (CISA), with some consideration for an Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, etc.) with extensive IT Audit experience
- Technology risk and knowledge around IT General Controls (ITGC)
- Extensive, demonstrable IT Audit leadership experience within a Financial Services environment
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across different divisions, senior leadership and board
