Senior Test Engineer

The Test Engineer is responsible for testing software for new functionality, for corrective maintenance, and for understanding product requirements.

Requirements and Experience:

·       Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing.

·       Education level: Bachelor/Master.

·       Experience in agile particularly with an understanding of acceptance criteria.

·       Understanding of software product lifecycle and the agile process.

·       Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills required.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.

·       Passion for quality and software testing.

·       Could take on a SCRUM Master role if required.

·       Has worked in an automated testing environment.

·       Can demonstrate coding skills for testing automation scripts in a language like Ruby.

·       Active in spotting defects and potential problems in all environments outside local development.

·       Active with wider teams and can demonstrate processes and share knowledge.

·       Mentor other Test Engineers
