Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a driven Transport planner to join an independent Transport Planning Consultancy, on a long-term contract basis outside IR35.
The successful candidate will have the chance to work on exciting Residential and Rail projects whilst working remotely!
Our client is looking for a Senior Transport Planner to lead and manage transportation planning projects whilst providing technical expertise and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report writing, including evidence for inquiries
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct transportation studies to support Infrastructure planning
- Stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies
- Prepare presentations for clients and project stakeholders
- Attend project and client meetings when required
- Develop innovative transportation solutions that address current needs
Key Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills, including the preparation of Trip Generation and Distribution spreadsheets
- Working knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG and TRANSYT
- A degree in Transportation Planning or Engineering or a similar field
- Fully licensed
- Prior experience working in Transportation Planning
- Knowledge of Transportation planning principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of delivering Transportation planning projects on time
